Quest Care’s Mission
To be a vibrant, inclusive, Christian, residential community that assists the healing of hurt souls by living with, and standing beside, the mentally ill as we jointly build sustainable mental health.

Our Vision
We are dedicated to the proposition that the mentally ill can find healing and can contribute to society in a manner that is both useful and appropriate to their talents. We envisage our residential setting assisting in such healing by constructing an atmosphere of safety; generating a sense of being a ‘caring family’; ethically giving dignity & being person-centred; by truly ‘being there’ with the troubled persons in their psychological pain; by cultivating responsibility & a spirit of mutual help, and lastly, by inculcating the practical values & skills involved in relating well with oneself and other people. Location
Our residence is in Ipswich, South-East Queensland. Ipswich has a population of 135,000 and is only 30 km [50 minutes by train or car] from Brisbane, our state capital. Click here for more information.

Quest Care’s History
In 1968, when this work offically began psychiatric care was synonymous with special hospitals & locked wards. In such a social climate, working with mentally ill persons in a non-institutional, family setting was truly a pioneering venture. Click here for more information.
